This months picture was taken on Monday 12th January at the start of the new youth wing of the Hatch Warren Community Centre.
The facilitiy will provide a much needed local resource for young people. There will be a cafe, quiet srea and a dedicated space for computer and table games.

The Rabbiter had a facelift over the Christmas break. We hope you like our new look
do you have a photograph that could feature on the cover? Digital cameras have
made photography very popular so if you have a special picture with a local theme
which could feature on the cover, please let us know. This month we have featured
the starting of the new Youth wing at the Community centre. This is an exciting new
development and we will be watching its progress. Our web-site, therabbiter.biz, is
also undergoing a refresh and should be up and running by the end of February.
There is news of many exciting events happening in the next couple of months
quiz evenings, jumble sales and salsa dancing on Valentines day. The Spring Fayre at
the Community Centre is definitely in my diary!
Many of you have written to us asking about newspaper delivery. We are pleased to
announce that there is now a daily newspaper delivery service across the estate
further details can be found on page 15.
We hope you like the new up to date map of the area which features all roads and
facilities on Hatch Warren and Beggarwood.
It was great to receive so much news from our contributors this month please
keep sending us all your news and views. Next month we will feature the winners
of our November and December competitions and the fabulous evening out by
one lucky winner at Ciao Baby Cucina. The free-ads are always very popular so if you
are feeling the crunch this might be a good way of recycling items and raising a little
cash.
Finally, as we go to press news is out that Sainsburys are planning a major refit
more news on this development next month.
