Hatch Warren Phoenix Under 11’s

Daren Bavister writes: The unique team selection, club ethos and player attitude eventually reaped rewards for the Hatch Warren Phoenix Under 11’s as they claimed the Peter Houseman ‘Fair Play’ award for season 2012/13.  The much coveted trophy is earned by votes from oppositions managers and referees over the season based on attitude and approach of the players, management and those watching the game.  Phoenix U11 and U7 coach Daren Bavister had this to say “Our lads attitude has been outstanding all season, they have faced a real mixture of opposition with a variety of attitudes towards the game and have been resolute throughout.  Both Lee Butler ( Phoenix Manager) and I are very proud of the squad, they personify the phrase ‘team effort’ in everything they do without complaint and without any shadow of doubt deserve this award”
